Partnership for Progress
About Us
WHO IS PARTNERSHIP FOR PROGRESS?
PROGRESS IS POSSIBLE IN PORTLAND. It might not seem attainable now, with city and county leaders seemingly unable to resolve long-standing issues like homelessness, the drug crisis, and property crime. Portland's political divisions, while perhaps bewildering to outsiders, are well-established. Yet, far more unites Portlanders than divides us. We hold onto the belief that Portland can be a place of opportunity, innovation, and compassion, despite the city's current struggles.
Partnership for Progress amplifies the voices of the majority of Portland residents who desire a safe, functional city in which to live, thrive, and raise families. We facilitate connections among Portlanders, and we hold City Hall and the County Board of Commissioners accountable for implementing necessary changes.
Led by community leaders and former City Hall insiders who share the frustrations of the 71 percent of voters who feel the city is not headed in the right direction, our team combines expertise in politics, the private sector, and community organizing. This unique blend enables Partnership for Progress to identify policies with the greatest potential for positive impact in Portland.
